Omarion Showcases South Africa’s Beauty In His New Music Video

When Anatii brought Omarion to the continent in october 2016 the American R&B singer, songwriter, dancer and actor previously known as being the lead singer of R&B band B2K , the superstar grabbed this opportunity to shoot a music video for his single Distance (between us) in the Valley of a Thousand Hills in KwaZulu-Natal and Camps Bay, Cape Town.

Speaking  to Slikour during the shoot before the video was released , Omarion said that he had brought a number of African elements into the video, such as traditional and pantsula dancers, to give it a unique African flavour.

“We got local talent. We had an audition earlier and we got a few ladies to come through. My purpose in shooting this video was to show my people back at home that this is a place you can go. A place to go and dance and sing…it’s like a hidden gem that people haven’t explored yet,” said Omarion.
